Hello and welcome to my profile!
 

After pursuing my love of English at University, I decided to continue this passion through completing a Secondary English PGCE and becoming an English Teacher. Although I relished my role as an English Teacher, after being offered an exciting job role as an Editor, I parted ways with my teaching career to pursue a challenging new journey. This allowed for the application of the skillset gained from teaching to an alternative environment. 

Although I hold no regrets with my decision, I found myself yearning for the opportunity to put to practice the diverse skillset gained from both roles, to embark on a challenging and rewarding role supporting students again; aiding both their progress and success much beyond education, but in every aspect of their lives, as I believe I have a true aptitude for assisting, nurturing and supporting others. 

This has allowed me to diverge into many aspects of teaching outside of mainstream education; including a pastoral role, online teaching, working in an SEN school and in two independent schools. Online teaching is an area of education I am particularly interested in pursuing, which has led me to this exciting opportunity with Learn with SAT.

I have been teaching English online for the past 4 years and have had the opportunity to work with students from different backgrounds and age groups. My extensive experience has honed my ability to effectively communicate and engage with students in a virtual setting. I am passionate about the English language and take great pleasure in helping my students improve their language skills.

One of my greatest strengths is my organisation skills. As an online teacher, I understand the importance of being well-prepared and having a structured lesson plan. I always ensure that my teaching materials are ready in advance and that my lessons are tailored to meet the individual needs of my students. This has resulted in my students consistently achieving their learning goals and improving their English proficiency.

Additionally, I take pride in my ability to build strong rapport with my students. I believe that establishing a positive and supportive relationship with students is crucial in creating an effective learning environment. I am patient and empathetic, and I always strive to understand my students' needs and provide them with the necessary support and guidance.

Furthermore, I am skilled at engaging students in an online learning environment. I use a variety of interactive tools and techniques to make my lessons interesting and engaging. I am also well-versed in using virtual platforms such as Zoom and Google Classroom, making the learning experience seamless and enjoyable for my students.
