Hi there, my name is Jack and I am a Maths tutor at SATAt university I studied a BSc in mathematics, as I have always had a passion for the subject. Whilst studying at university, I provided tuition to KS3 and GCSE students online, which has given me an up to date knowledge of the curriculum, and how it needs adapting, but also insight into what examiners are specifically looking for when marking GCSE papers.

 

Through my previous work as a tutor, I have supported students working at both the foundation and higher tier level of GCSE Maths. I would say that my style of tuition is flexible, adaptable and friendly, as I enjoy tailoring each lesson to meet the students needs. I believe that a continual focus on exam technique and exam style questions is really important, and so I ensure that this skill set is practised in every tutorial.

 

As a result of this approach, I have found that my students see an improvement in their grades, as well as a wider general understanding of maths as a whole, which then goes on to support their other subjects.I really look forward to working with you in the future!
